This is the sequel to Galaxian. Allows capture of a ship to givedouble fire-power.
Sadly my version of this is a bootleg (it calls its' self GALLAG) despite this it's one of my favourites.


Scramble


Scramble (1981 Stern/Koname) VerticalScreen
Fly over rough terrain shooting and bombing air and groundtargets.


Robotron


Robotron (1982 Williams) Hirizontal Screen
Robotron. The Original Murder Simulator. Along with Defender, Robotronis probably one of the finest videogames ever created. It's simplicity itself,you have 2 joystick. One moves you in 8 directions and the other shoots acontinual hale of bullets in 8 directions. Kill Or Be Killed.


Mr Do


Mr Do (1982 Universal) UpSideDown Vertical Screen
Avery playable DigDug clone in which you guide a clown around the screen andsquash monsters by dropping apples on their heads. Newton would play this.


Xevious


Xevious (1982 Namco, licensee Atari) VerticalScreen
Xevious is a top down, vertical scrolling shooter, featuringmultiple waves of air and ground-based targets. The game was widely copied andmany later games are described as being "a little like xevious" eg1942, Tiger Helle. For the time the graphics were truly stunning.

Moon Patrol

Buggy on the moon jumps over craters/runaway boulders, shoots atenemies. Awesome music for its era ...
